Editing tasks
Task editing panel

When a task is selected, its details are displayed on the right side of the app.
- 1 - timestamps. Them show when task was created, edited or marked as completed.
- 2 - attributes: Them show associated tags, people and links to documents, files or web pages.
- 3 - status of the task.
- 4 - title of the task.
- 5 - description editing tools.
- 6 - description of the task.
- 7 - applying or resetting changes.
Timestamps

- Created
- The date and time the task was created.
- Changed
- The date and time the task was changed.
- Completed
- The date and time the task was marked as completed. If the task is not completed, this field is not displayed.

If multiple tasks are selected, common values are shown as numbers, and the differing values are shown as X.
People

It is possible to assign people or organizations as performers or associated to the task.
To edit people assigned to the task, click People and select the necessary items in the menu that opens.

Double-clicking on a person name opens the person description window.
The list of all available people can be edited via the menu Project→People
Links

It is possible to add links to documents, folders, or web pages related to the task.
Single click on Links opens the list of connected links. It allows to add, delete or edit task links.

Another way to add documents to the list of links is to select a file or files in Windows Explorer and drag them to the task heading.

To add a web link copy it from a browser address bar, right-click on Links and select the appropriate menu item.

- Add File from Clipboard
- Adds a link to a file.
- Add Folder from Clipboard
- Adds a link to a folder.
- Add Link from Clipboard
- Adds a link to a web page.
To copy the path of an existing link, right-click on it and select Copy Path to Clipboard.

Double-clicking on a link opens a link editing window.
It is possible to open the link by clicking on it with CTRL pressed.
If a linked document has docx, txt, pdf, jpg, png extension, clicking opens the linked document.
Otherwise, it opens the document’s containing folder in Windows Explorer.
If the link is a web page, it opens the link in a web browser.
The list of all available links can be edited via the menu Project→Links
Status

Each task has a status. The status describes the state of the task or how it is used in the project.
There are 4 default statuses:
- Default
- The simplest type. It can be used to create text entries, notes, memos, technical information, etc.
- Caption
- This status is typically used to group other tasks and does not contain its own information.
- Active
- Indicates that the task is in progress.
- Completed
- Used to mark completed tasks.
Any additional statuses can be created. Examples: In Progress, Postponed, Delayed, Notes, Not for Printing etc.
Each status has a specified visual style. Styles describe how task elements are displayed. For example, they describe the color and size of the text and the background of the items in the task list. The same style can be assigned to several different statuses. Any styles can be added or changed in the project file.
The list of all available statuses can be edited via the menu Project→Statuses.
Task title

The task title briefly describes the essence of the task and helps to find and sort it. The title is displayed in the task list.
Task description

The description contains detailed information about the task. For example, progress, change history, quotes and any other information related to the task.
Web links can be added to the description. They become active the next time the description is displayed. To open the web link, press CTRL+click

Above the description there is a block of editing tools:
- Red
- Changes the color of the selected text to red.
- Green
- Changes the color of the selected text to green.
- Blue
- Changes the color of the selected text to blue.
- Default
- Changes the color of the selected text to the default color (usually black).
- Date
- Adds today's date to the text [DD.MM.YYYY].
Depending on where the text was last changed, the string is added to the task title or the task description. - Person
- Displays a list of people. Clicking on a person’s name adds the string to the text.

The list of all available people can be edited via the menu Project→People - Tag
- Displays a list of tags. Clicking on a tag adds the string to the text.

- Displays a list of predefined phrases. Clicking on a phrase adds the string to the text.
Depending on where the text was last changed, the string is added to the task title or the task description.
The list of all available phrases can be edited via the menu Project→Preset Texts
Applying and resetting changes

After editing the task, it is necessary to apply the changes.
The changes can be undone later.
While editing the task, all other operations with tasks and application settings are blocked.
- Apply
- Applies the changes.
- Reset
- Resets the changes to the state before the start of editing.
